Last weekend was one of the most important of my life.

I believe it can be added to the list of one of the few moments that I can look back on and know the exact event that changed everything.

1. My parents divorce

2. Our wedding day

3. The day my mother married Preston

4. The day my children are born

I don’t know how to say what I want to say about this.

The love that I see in my mom and Preston for each other is overwhelming.

The love that I have for Preston is just the same. I am excited to see how our family will adapt and grow.

I am proud to consider him a dad.

My mom was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen

I not only gained a father but also three step-sisters, three step-brother-in-laws, and two beautiful nieces.

I honestly couldn't be more proud to call Tiffany, April & Crystal family. They were extremely open and welcomed us with loving arms. We spent the weekend spending time together and getting to know each other and I felt I could be by 100% self. For those that know me well.. or have known me for a long time know that I am socially awkward and have anxiety around new people. I had neither of this with them. I was extremely comfortable in my own skin which to me, just shows that they are such genuine down to earth girls.

All I can think about is when I'm going to make it out to San Diego to see them.

Ryan and I are hoping to go sometime later this year.. maybe as part of an anniversary gift/getaway.

I was hoping to go over the summer but since Ryan just started a new job, he won't have any vacation until Winter. SO.. maybe we won't get to swim in the ocean but we can at least finally see it!
