It's sad to say goodbye to a great weekend

I feel I need a weekend to recover from this past weekend!

Friday night we went to Scream Country in Drumright, OK with Jeremy. So we drove an hour and a half for a chance to get scared out in the middle of nowhere. The car ride was probably one of the best parts of the evening! I had to drive us because well.. the boys weren't in 100% driving condition. Jeremy made the mistake of bringing up whether or not to vote for 744 and once we calmed Ryan down... after 30 minutes of ranting... it was a great time! We talked about anything and everything and just laughed... and Ryan got to express his brotherly love for Jeremy. (He had had a little too much truth serum at this point.)

There was one point where I had finally gotten off I-44 and was driving down these country roads that I was starting to freak myself out after realizing we really were in the middle of nowhere. I tried to express my fears and the boys just blew me off like I was an idiot. Haha. I can psych myself out really easily by just thinking something's behind me or following me. I was actually pretty impressed by what they've done. Considering Fright Fest has huge financial backer's and it wasn't as good as this one, it was awesome. This place is probably put on by a family that puts their hard earned money into this every year and that is impressive. We got put with a couple in their 30s and their 10 years old son. (Who I might add was bawling his eyes out and begging to go sit in the car while we waited in line for 20 minutes. The poor kid was scared out of his mind. I found it pretty hilarious but mad props to him because I would have shit myself at that age.)

There were a few parts of the evening that must be mentioned:
1. Ryan telling Freddy Kruger he was cute.
2. Our conversation with the creepy demon guy while he followed me and got extremely close to my face. Ryan - "Don't touch her! That's my wife!" Creep - "Well your wife's gonna die!" Ryan - "I'll kick your f*ing ass!" Creep gets even closer to my face and whispers - "Nobody can protect you. You will die." Me - turns and looks him in the eye - "HAHA. Awesome!"
3. There was a part where you go through a pitch black maze inside a shed (and you have to understand when I say pitch black, I mean pitch black. You could not see a single thing. If you weren't holding on to the person in front of you, you would get lost). So Jeremy was leading us through this thing, aimlessly pushing against every wall to find the opening and all of a sudden you hear this Billy Bob Thornton from Sling Blade voice say "Heeey buddy. Watch it." Apparently Jeremy was feeling all over this man and didn't know it. He must have gotten to a particular area when the guy finally said something. We decided that he should have said something to stay in character like "I like little boys". Too far? Eh.

We spent the rest of the evening just having a blast together and laughing like there was no tomorrow. Bliss.

This is all I have to say about Saturday night:
AMAZING.
 The Ultimate Warrior
Kitty Cat & Walker Texas Ranger

Oh! And we had 8 Trick-or-Treaters!!
