Oklahoma Adventures, Part III:
The things you learn on westbound ROUTE 66
3. This is what Weatherford considers "restored"
BUT they were fancy with their Dyson Airblade and heated toilet seats.
(The chicken, sauce, rolls & mashed potatoes were delicious though)
5. Josh really loves seasoned salt
(The chicken, sauce, rolls & mashed potatoes were delicious though)
8. Small town tire places are fast and they're really nice.
9. Dogs love me everywhere I go.
If you are ever out that way, you should check out the White Dog Restaurant
It is beautiful and rustic and heart warming. Plus you'll get to see the happiest pups in town.
Meet Beans:
but he gave me an instant bath of kisses when he saw me
10. Blizzards from Dairy Queen are amazing.
But I'm still too scared to hold them upside down.
This was my first DQ experience & it was a good one!
They don't know their own address (the address on the confirmation is Ramada's address)
The fridge didn't work so this is how we cooled our drinks
12. Josh is a free spirit.
I have no clue what this means but it apparently meant something to him.
14. Oklahoma's grass has turned into Ireland's countryside.
It's so beautiful right now.
Things we learned that didn't get a photo:
- Ryan has an alter ego named Rude Rectal Ryan and he hates hippies
- Josh is a Juggalo and Mollie & I are princesses
- Clinton loves Ron Paul
- Elk City doesn't have a Taco Bell but they have a Maurice's?!
- Body builders can swim in freezing pools without any hesitation
- Limos will follow you if you make them mad
Our final destination was Elk City which is kind of funny because we didn't actually do anything there except see how ghetto it was! It was a successful trip and I can't wait to go East on Route 66 next time!
